Hello, my name is Bintou K, and I am a non-binary individual with a passion for care work. With several years of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with clients who have had various care needs, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, being bedbound, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression.
I offer a range of care types, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care. I am also fortunate to have a driving license and my own car, which allows me to provide transportation for my clients when needed.
In terms of skills, I am experienced in assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing. I also have proficiency in catheter care and providing companionship to make sure that my clients feel supported and engaged.
Beyond my commitment to providing quality care, I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy during my free time. Painting, walking, dancing, card games, and cooking and baking are just a few of the activities that bring joy to my life.
I am also an animal lover and have no problem caring for pets. I am comfortable with cats, fish, rabbits, birds, and turtles, and can provide the necessary assistance in taking care of them as well.
What motivates me to be a carer is the opportunity to help individuals lead independent lives while maintaining their dignity. I strive to be a caring, friendly, and helpful presence in the lives of the individuals I work with, always prioritizing their well-being and ensuring their comfort.
